“Pond at Olympic Village”, oil on canvas, 12”W x 12”H x 2”D

I painted this beautiful oil painting when I was living in Olympic Village in Vancouver. This pond was “a small island of nature in the city” for me, and I really enjoyed it.

“Pond at Olympic Village” is full of sumptuous and vivid colours. I was using Italian technique impasto to create this beautiful piece. The painting is multilayer, pastous and textural.
